The Eastgate Fire Protection Society (EFPS) is the vehicle – the network and resources – that enables our community to support a variety of activities.
Some examples of the things we do:
- Promote community emergency preparedness and response
- Assist as able with natural disasters, such as fires and floods
- Be a community resource, bring people together, facilitate community communications, support community response
- Provide and facilitate training
- Support the community to be FireSmart and FloodSmart
- Enable the efficient utilization of community resources as needed
- Respond within our training, as access and resources allow to emergencies that are impacting our community
